My 30 Day No Alcohol Challenge - Day 19

Weigh Day! Result! Finally!

After 19 days on the challenge, this week I lost 2.3kg. Even though I have been feeling fatter, I am actually starting to see the result. I actually think the reason I’ve been feeling so” fat” is because of my posture.

Sitting on a plastic chair, in front of my lap top at work, I am finding the desk is too low. I am hunched over and I can feel my 3 fat rolls compressing on each other! I’ve found the solution by sitting on a cushion and pulling my chair in closer to the table, forcing myself to sit up straight.

Since starting my weight loss programme on 6 October, I have lost a total of 3.7 kgs so far. That’s equivalent to approximately 1 large bag and 1 small of sugar!

Although I did not lose much on the first week of my No Alcohol Challenge, things seem to be evening out a little.

I still have a long way to go, but at least now I am feeling inspired and a little hopeful.

I have a very busy and stressful time head over the next couple of week. Work is crazy busy, and we are moving house again in less than 2 weeks (one of the top most stressful events in life, following closely after death and divorce, I believe!)

Fortunately, I am so busy, trying to get on top of my game at the office, thinking about packing and moving, and writing my blog among other things that I barely even have time to think about missing my evening tipple!

I still have 11 days to go on my no alcohol challenge and I'm doing good and feeling great.

And finally, I have to congratulate my colleague who is still on her own 40 day challenge and has already lost 4.2kg. We Rock!

If you would like to share with me or become part of this journey, I look forward to answering your questions and reading your thoughts in the Comments below.
